The FA’s Clean-Hand Technology minimizes hands-on press interaction, and ensures clean hands during press operation; all data is saved, jobs are easily recalled, and the press will auto register. Designed for the modern, intuitive print operator, this approach eliminates previous manual controls; quick lock handles are replaced with touch button controls, all printing unit covers can open individually or simultaneously, and the anilox rollers have an automatic cleaning function before release.

With this new locking mechanism, the printing sleeve cylinder is locked-in automatically via motors, with more precision, which secures stability throughout the printing process. The Vertical Auto-Lock System ensures maximum stability and minimizes undesirable effects such as bouncing and bar marking.

The FA features web-driven impression rollers, with a special Anti-Slip surface treatment. The impression is separated from the chill roller, which helps achieve a perfect web handling system for optimum control of all substrates. The driven chill rollers provide good web grip for high stability and print quality, and reduces risk of bar marking.

The operator panel is easy to manage, and the wireless HTML-based Control Tablets offer fast, instant print setting reactions. Furthermore, the control system has multiple user interfaces – allowing several job functions to be controlled at once by multiple operators, and on multiple tablets.

The FA allows printers to scale and customise their press from standard to advanced with Value-Adding Units, and various Application and Automation Packages, according to application needs and budget.

The new generation CLEANINKING system features new operator-friendly options. The system offers consistent density performance at all speeds, with a consistent filling of the anilox roller over a large ink chemistry gamut. CLEANINKING provides high performance, consistent colour control, easy handling, and easy cleaning.

The FA provides a maximum level of stability, the tightest register tolerance, and excellent printing results on multiple substrates; all normal self-adhesive materials, including flexible packaging films, polymer films, metallic films, and paper. The FA offers high quality labels, sleeves, in-moulds, and wraparounds for high-end food, health & beauty, cosmetics, wine, etc.

The FA features Nilpeter’s lightweight, easy-load sleeves for reduced setup times, easy handling, increased production speeds, higher print quality, and impressive durability, not to mention the lower cost per label.

The FA can easily be combined with Nilpeter’s ancillary program and Value-Adding Units.
